The reason for relocating the lock ring bearing on the Polaris high torque 900 motor is at clutch engagement the moveable sheave is hitting the belt and causing a slide hammer effect on the PTO end. If the case fit is not perfect, the clutch is actually jerking on the PTO rod pin, with the lock ring bearing moved to the PTO end of the case where it belongs there is no more damage done to the PTO end or rod pin.
Our machined and drilled crankcase
This is being sold on our exchange program, you must return to us a re-buildable 900 crank case, if cores are bad you will pay an additional core charge. Case bores must be inspected and measured. If your case is not reuseable there will be an adittional charge for having to use a new case.
Comes completely assembled ready for cylinders.
Both case water seals are also replaced.
This crank has a 30 or 32mm PTO-end.
